In a lotion base
Clean and dry the affected area before application.
Apply a thin, even layer of Amwisal Lotion/Ointment to the affected skin, as directed by your dermatologist.
Massage gently until the medication is absorbed. Do not use on broken or infected skin unless specifically directed. Wash your hands thoroughly after application.
